A dear friend is a huge chocolate fan and in the past I have sent chocolates from various different shops for his birthday, but for the last 4 years I have only bought from Helen’s as these have been the favourites by a long way. I now don’t buy from elsewhere as these are obviously the best!

Good idea but if you don't do it when you order the chocolates, you can't do it at the time you go to finalise and pay for your order. I've been caught out more than once by this issue in the past, but an email to the Lake District shop usually sorted a message out. I see you are now Manchester area-based and maybe things are not so adaptable or personal when the business was run from the shop in the Lakes.

I was not sure if my gift was actually delivered. The Shopify site kept saying "on its way" (and 2 weeks later it's still saying that). I emailed you asking whether the delivery had been done, but didn't get a reply. I eventually asked my sister, which upset her because she had forgotten to thank me. Some better feedback would be good

Overall the purchase was excellent but the writing on the gift card was more like a scrawl than a hand written message. If you can't write neatly use a stencil.
